The slide series (pdf) about the physical activity of school-aged children and adolescents is aimed at three lessons or other suitable use

A lesson plan and presentation material for lower secondary school and upper secondary education have been built to go through the physical activity recommendation and own physical activity habits. The study module contains physical activity teaching content and a sleep-related reflection section. The plan also includes ideas for utilising teaching technology and suggestions for additional lessons. Presentation material have been prepared for the lesson plan. From the presentation material you can find an animation video about the recommendation, a picture of the core contents of the reccomendation and the online physical activity questionnaire.

See the lesson plans on the project websites of the UKK Institute for Health Promotion Reasearch:

For lower secondary school the objective of the lesson plan and the presentation material is to increase understanding of physical, mental and social health from the perspective of physical activity, guide the pupil to recognise and assess their own physical activity and sleep habits and reflect on resources that are important for their health.

The lesson plan and presentation material for upper secondary education supports both the objectives of the health education (T1) in general upper secondary school and the maintaining ability to work and well-being at work area of a vocational upper secondary qualification. With the help of the lesson plan the student can identify the factors affecting their physical activity and sleep and is able to assess their significance in terms of your health. The student can provide justified suggestions about how to maintain health-promoting lifestyles and prevent those that endanger health. With the help of the online physical activity questionnaire, the student can prepare a diverse plan to promote their own health and well-being, taking into consideration the importance of physical activity, recovery and sleep in terms of maintaining the ability to study and work. You can return to the plan later, when the student can realistically assess implementation of the plan and achievement of the goals. In addition, the student receives versatile information about the benefits of physical activity for health and the ability to study and work.
